OpenAI Launches ChatGPT-4o ✅

• OpenAI releases GPT-4o with real-time speech and vision features, enabling it to instantly respond to voice and visual inputs. This makes interactions more dynamic and context-aware, enhancing the overall user experience.

• GPT-4o is free and more efficient than previous versions, with higher capacity limits. It can solve math problems using an iPhone camera and change its speaking style on the fly, making it more versatile and engaging.

• The release of GPT-4o was timed to coincide with Google's developers conference, showcasing OpenAI's competitive advancements in AI technology and highlighting its potential impact in the AI field.

Microsoft Drops the Mic with “Recalls” 💻

• Microsoft just introduced its “Build” developer event, announcing new AI features like Copilot+ Recall, a bunch of new partnerships and more.

• CEO Satya Nadella expanded on the new Recall feature, which will run locally and take constant screenshots to remember user actions on Copilot+ PCs.

• The company introduced Team Copilot, an AI agent to assist users in Microsoft apps, and Copilot Studio, a tool for developers to create and deploy AI agents.

OpenAI Signs Deal to Access Reddit's Data ✍️

• Reddit and OpenAI announced a partnership to integrate Reddit’s content into OpenAI's ChatGPT and other products. This collaboration will use Reddit’s Data API to provide real-time, structured content, enhancing user interactions and access to timely information.

• Reddit will leverage OpenAI’s AI models to develop new AI-powered features for its users and moderators, improving the overall user experience on the platform. This includes advanced tools to better understand and showcase Reddit content.

• For users and creators, this means more enriched interactions on Reddit and ChatGPT, with access to timely, relevant content and improved community engagement. Additionally, OpenAI will become a Reddit advertising partner, potentially boosting targeted advertising opportunities.
