ElevenLabs Launch an Any Text Reader App 📚

• ElevenLabs introduce their new Reader App, allowing users to listen to any text content, including articles, PDFs, ePubs, and newsletters, on the go with a variety of high-quality voices.

• Beta testers have praised the app for its exceptional voice quality, fluidity, and usability. The app is especially beneficial for users with visual impairments, offering a game-changing experience by maintaining consistent tone and voice across long texts.

• The app, currently available for iOS users in the US, UK, and Canada, will soon support multiple languages and features based on user feedback. Planned updates include offline support, content sharing, and additional ways to add content like RSS feeds and AI summarization.

Figma Announces Full UI Redesign with AI 🧑‍💻

• Figma's latest update includes a comprehensive UI redesign with a new toolbar, rounded corners, and 200 new icons, aimed at making the interface more approachable for new users while maintaining utility for experts. Additionally, the update introduces built-in slideshow functionality for creating and sharing presentations directly within Figma.

• Figma is launching generative AI tools that simplify the design process by quickly generating app designs, prototypes, and content, such as recipe pages or app layouts. These tools aim to help both beginners and experienced users by providing AI-enhanced asset search and auto-generated text.

• Figma ensures user privacy by training its AI models on public data and allowing admins to control whether customer content is used for training. New features, like Figma Slides for real-time presentation edits and interactive elements, are being introduced in beta.

Claude gets an upgrade with “Projects" 🔨

• Claude Pro and Team users can now organize their chats into Projects, allowing for curated sets of knowledge and chat activity to be shared within teams. This feature enables user teams to easily access and collaborate on important information.

• Projects support up to a 200K context window, equivalent to a 500-page book, allowing users to upload relevant documents, code, and insights. Custom instructions can be defined for each Project to tailor Claude’s responses to specific roles or industries, ensuring faster and more relevant outputs.

• The Artifacts feature helps users visualize and edit content generated by Claude, such as code snippets and website designs, with a dedicated window for easy interaction. Team users can share snapshots of their best conversations with Claude to inspire and enhance team skills.
