OpenAI Announces NEW SearchGPT 📲

• OpenAI is testing SearchGPT, a prototype combining AI models with web information to provide fast, relevant answers with clear sources. Available to a small group of users and publishers for feedback, it aims to integrate the best features into ChatGPT in the future. Interested users can join the waitlist.

• SearchGPT enhances web searches by leveraging AI's conversational abilities with real-time information, offering quick responses and clear links to sources. Users can ask follow-up questions in a conversational manner, building shared context with each query, making it easier to find relevant results.

• Partnering with publishers, SearchGPT highlights high-quality content, ensuring clear attribution and multiple engagement opportunities. Publishers can manage their appearance in searches, with sites surfaced even if they opt out of AI training. Feedback from users and publishers will be used to refine the prototype.

Luma Labs Add New Looping Tool 🔁

• LumaLabs' new Loop feature allows seamless looping of motion in videos created with the Dream Machine, available for new generations and through the Video Extent feature, ensuring smooth and continuous video playback.

• This advancement addresses the issue of choppy or disjointed AI-generated videos, enabling users to create fluid videos that loop seamlessly, enhancing the editing and viewing experience including increased usability for various applications.

• The Loop feature is beneficial for advertisers creating endless loop digital billboards and continuous background visuals for live events. Creators can create perfectly looping memes short clips for viral content

Google Upgrade Their Gemini Free Plan 🤑

• Google’s Gemini free plan now includes Gemini 1.5 Flash, offering faster, higher-quality responses with improved reasoning and image understanding. The context window has been expanded to 32K tokens, supporting longer, more complex conversations.

• New features include the ability to upload files for enhanced functionality, such as generating practice questions from study guides or analyzing data files. Gemini’s responses will also include links to related content and verified information to combat hallucinations.

• Gemini’s reach is expanding with its integration into Google Messages in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, and the mobile app is rolling out to more countries. Gemini for Teens will soon be available globally with enhanced safety measures and an AI literacy guide.
